Synopsis:

"Zabriskie Point" celebrates women: their strength, their femininity, their fighting spirit, their joie de vivre and their proud individuality. They resist the stereotypical hero images that are spread in the media. While the song is a personal love song from one woman to another woman, the video transmits this declaration of love to all women. "Zabriskie Point" is an enigmatic vanishing point: It represents a personal memory of the two lovers, as well as a reference in form and content to the film "Zabriskie Point" (1970) by Michelangelo Antonioni. The famous explosion, which already back then stood for a departure from traditional social conventions, is updated: It is still, or again, time to free yourself from restrictive norms.
